There's even an outdoor beach shower and fish cleaning sink. Toogoom is a small fishing village 20 minutes from Hervey Bay. Hervey Bay has all city facilities restaurants, fast food outlets as well as cinemas, golf courses and access to Fraser Island and Great Sandy Straits fishing. Whether you want to swim, sail, fish, or walk the beach and collect shells or just relax this accommodation has it all.

The two level home has 3 bedrooms, 2 up and 1 down with all living areas including lounge, dining, family, kitchen and verandahs on the lower level. The house is equiped with a modern kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, wall oven and cooktop. The living area has a TV, DVD and CD player. Dine in the house or on the back verandah facing the ocean in comfort. The main bedroom on the lower level has a double bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and single bed. The third bedroom has 3 single beds. All rooms are large and comfortable. All bedrooms have built-in robes and ceiling fans. The family room also has a ceiling fan. The house is fully fly screened. The carport will accomodate 2 cars or a boat. Smoking is not permitted in the house and pets are not allowed.

Toogoom Beach the ideal relaxing family holiday

Toogoom Beach faces north and all year round the sun shines. Enjoy strolling along the shore or playing in the tidal pools at low tide or fish in the permanent channel at the boat ramp 5 mins walk away. Why not head up the creeks to enjoy a spot of crabbing or prawning in season or just to catch that big old cod in a cod hole. There's a yabbie pump provided if you want to catch your own bait. If fishing is not for you enjoy a sail, or windsurf on the calm waters or just relax on the beach. Watch the sea eagles and the kites catch their dinner in the tidal pools and as the sun goes down enjoy that sunset drink from the verandah, as the birds go to sleep and peace decends on sleepy Toogoom. The village has a boat ramp and 2 general stores with fuel, bait and take-a-ways including great pizzas.
